After two weeks of waiting and waiting, our package from SASA finally arrived. First off, for those of you who don't know what SASA is, SASA is a leading Asian cosmetic retailer group in Asia; selling popular brands of skincare, make-up, hair care, body care and fragrance. To learn more about them, visit their website here.
SASA is an amazing store filled with great brands we love. They provide great customer service, though we do admit that it is a bit hard to get in contact with them due to the time zone difference. We found the best way to contact SASA's representative is through their Facebook page.
We found Shipping time to be reasonable given that the item is being shipped all the way from Asia to the U.S. It took about two weeks and a signature is required upon delivery. So you must be home to sign for the package. SASA packs their items really nicely, bubbling wrapping and filling the package with peanut fillers to protect the items inside. Below is the picture of the package.
We are super excited to finally have the Mai Doll BB Cream in hand. We have heard a lot of rave and positive things about Skin 79 BB Cream but they were out of stock when we made our purchase so we went for a different brand- Mai Doll. One thing to note is that SASA does take awhile to restock out of stock items.
Below are photos of the Mai Doll BB Cream Packaging. It come in a package of two for $8.30.
Front Back
Personally, the packaging is cute. We love that it comes in two tubes which will allow us to carry one around with us. The BB cream has a bit of a flowery perfume smell to it. The smell is not over powering but we would have liked it much better if it was fragrance free. The color and consistency is light and gives the perfect coverage for a light foundation.
(Sorry about the color of the photos. We are not a professional photographer and apparently, we take incredibly ugly pictures with terrible lighting.)
We felt that the cream sinks right into our skin, giving a really smooth matte look and feel. It covers imperfection pretty well without being too oily or sticky. So far, we are loving this Mai Doll BB Cream and will definitely order from SASA again. We will update to let you know if it really brightens and improves our complexion with prolonged use.
The other items does not belong to us, so we will not review it. However, we will show a few photos of what other goodies came in the box =)
